Riding level & fitness

🐎 On the 7-day tour you ride for 5 days: over 40 hours and around 250 km. On riding days you spend about 8 hours in the saddle, so stamina for long days helps. We are finalising the exact level requirement; if you are unsure, ask us before booking and we'll look at it together.

Guides & group

🏔️ Groups of 6–12 riders. Local guides who know this land and its culture ride with you along the whole route.

Accommodation

🏡 Nights are spent in village homestays, traditional Kyrgyz yurts and A-frame cabins. All accommodation is included in the price.

Food

🍲 Three meals a day are included. Unlike a standard tour, every day brings a different traditional Kyrgyz dish to the table: Beshbarmak, Manpar, Samsa and more.

Luggage & support vehicle

🚙 Our support vehicle reaches each stop ahead of you, so by the time you arrive the table is set and the tea is hot. Your luggage travels with it too; in the saddle you only carry what you need. You can also pick up anything you need at rest stops or before arriving at your overnight stay.

A little extra

🥃 Drinks on some evenings are on us. We enjoy a few around the campfire, surrounded by mountain landscapes and the peaceful atmosphere of the Kyrgyz wilderness. 🔥

Flights

✈️ You only need to arrange your flight to Bishkek; all transfers from Bishkek Airport are included in the price. Don't book flights until your departure is confirmed: each date's status is shown in the calendar.

From our riders

  • “I came solo and had no idea what to expect. By the second day I felt completely at home, on the horse, around the fire, at the table with the family. Naryn is unlike anything I've experienced in years of travel.”
    ValentinaBuenos Aires, Argentina
  • “The nomadic migration day was worth the entire trip by itself. Joining a real family, helping move their yurt, sharing their food. These are the moments that travel is supposed to be about.”
    ClaraMadrid, Spain
  • “The A-frame cabin after the Saar waterfall day felt like pure luxury. Hot tea, wooden walls, total silence. I wrote in my journal for two hours. This trip gave me back something I didn't know I'd lost.”
    NinaMunich, Germany
  • “Small group, great people, a guide who clearly loves this land. The horses were well-cared for and genuinely matched to each rider. Nothing felt rushed or touristy. Already booked for next year.”
    LotteAmsterdam, Netherlands
  • “Tash Rabat at sunset. The whole group was just quiet. Nobody took their phone out. That's the kind of moment this tour delivers, again and again. Rare and unforgettable.”
    MatteoMilan, Italy
  • “The eagle hunter demonstration was extraordinary. The bird lands on your arm and you feel the full weight of something ancient. This is living history, not a performance. Magnifique.”
    LucasParis, France
  • “Kel Suu lake left me speechless. Drifting across it in a small wooden boat between canyon walls. I kept thinking this can't be real. One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen. The whole route is extraordinary.”
    Özcanİzmir, Türkiye
  • “I've seen these mountains my whole life but riding through them with this group felt completely new. The team knows every valley, every family. Guests leave as friends. That's the real Kyrgyzstan.”
    AlisherBishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Just the road ahead, and the feeling of being exactly where you're meant to be.

Meet ATLA

The meaning behind the name.

Atla Yolculuk means a journey taken on horseback.

Not just a way of moving, but a way of slowing down, connecting with nature, and truly feeling the road.
